If you don't know well, now you know. SURPRISE - another beautiful tattoo I am very proud of.❤️
Allow me to explain,
I made an Instagram post explaining my new art and someone asked me, "why have it if you can't read it?" - well because why not? That reminds me of a time I purchased tickets to a concert and when trying to access accessible seating, a box office associate asked "why would you go to a concert if you can't see?"
Well let me ask you this: Why do they have blind referees in todays sports? (Where's my application?)
I chose the word visionary after coming upon Matt De Gruchy's Instagram page.
He is a 22 year old entrepreneur and business owner of MDV clothing. His pieces not only reflect his character and passion for advocacy, but he runs his daily operations as a visually impaired individual. Didi I mention he too has Stargardts Disease.
Visionary: (especially of a person) thinking about or planning the future with imagination or wisdom.
I have learned to plan for my future in a way that suites me best, not by the dictation of others or outside influences. I plan one day at a time, take life as it comes, and I move one foot in front of the other. I've learned that it doesn't matter how "hard" you plan, life doesn't always accommodate those long term ideas.
I have found true happiness in myself, something I think EVERYONE should work on.
My ideas of life are changing and I am content with all of my decisions and sacrifices. With everyday that passes I have a new view of life. I am a visionary.
Special thank you to Brandon Adams at Big Brain Omaha. I appreciate your words of wisdom regarding happiness and inscribing a word/lifestyle that I will continue to live by.
